COLEGIO EL ROSARIO



INTRODUCTION 

DESCRIPTION 
*It is a Private School
*It is located in Itagüi
*It is 70 years to the Education Service
*Two English teachers.
*On elementary each group receive three hours of English per week.

ENGLISH
v  The english is very important subject in our school    because we are focus in can be a bilingüe school
*We Know the English give a lot of benefits and opportunities to our students that's why day to day we try improving the English in our students teaching  the four abilities in each class. 

STUDENTS LEVEL 
*Is possible to see a better english level in the groups fourth and fifth they are students that have more vocabulary and know more the english structures.
*In the first grades is a little difficult to teach english because the school don’t have an appropiate material for the classes.

Class Profile


CLASS PROFILE 

Fourth and fifith grade
  

These groups has in total 42nd students, fourth grade has22nd students and  fifth grade has 20th students.  They are ages from nine to eleven years.
It is a groups that has some knowledge about English and is possible see that the students enjoy of the activities that the teacher suggest.
In the classroom the students are in lines in front of the board.

The english of the students is good they have a lot of vocabulary but they feel scary or shyness for using the english in their communication. 


Depending of the activity the teacher suggest do subgroups or round table, the teacher speak a part of the class in English and other part in Spanish for clarifying the doubts of the students.

The teacher use some strategies for catching the atention to the students as reduce the volume of her voice. Some times she wait in silence to her students. 

The teacher use a varied methodology she explain the topic them the students do a exercise and after the students read a text about the topic or listent to a audio about the topic them they try to speak a little.
